Prior to it’s closing due to the volcano eruption of 2018, Kalani Honua was 501(c)(3) non-profit educational retreat center that drew worldwide visitors to Hawaii Island for inspiring group and individual retreats, healing bodywork, yoga, fresh, local cuisine, and immersion in nature. Kalani also shared an extensive Hawaiian Culture offering, presenting classes in Hula, Lahaula Weaving, and La‘au Lapa‘au (plant healing).
